Visitor Information
Some reports offer additional visitor information in reporting tables. When clicking
the visitor info button (
) in these tables the following screen will display,
showing detail information about the visitor.
IP Address - the IP address of the visitor/spider.
Host Name – Result of performing a Reverse DNS lookup of the IP address by
querying a DNS Server.
Organization/ISP – Result of a WHOIS query on the IP address. Obtained from
local IP address database held by SurfStatsLive.
Country – Country of organization/ISP that IP address allocated to.
Page Views – Number of pages viewed by visitor.
BandWidth – Bytes transferred to the visitor.
Visitor Type – Either a normal visitor or spider from a search engine.
Please note that Organization/ISP information will only be available if your
statistics provider installed the Visitor Origin Database.
